Life Purpose is Partnership

Purpose is a about partnership with God, He created you and designed what your purpose on Earth is, but we must always remember this purpose is His purpose and we are just a junior partner in fulfilling it. The scripture says we are His workmanship, He dictates the pace and set the rules of the partnership.
A partnership can become void if a partner breaks the term of the contract, let us also remember even though I know His purpose for my life, I cannot fulfill it apart from Him, I can only fulfill it in Him and by taking each step with His guidance and direction.
When we are blinded by ambition, we can easily forget we are Junior partners in the partnership and start running a race that is not ours and not in the details of our contract.
May we always put God in His place in achieving the purpose He designed and He does know the details much more than we do.

LIFE IS WORK

Nothing in Life is built off wishes or what some call wishful thinking. Life requires work. We need to work at it. Life will not just hand you success or what you are looking for, you need to be intentional in your approach. Have a focus and WORK WORK WORK at it. It will not just land on your lap, you put all you got it at it and watch your seed grow. If you want to have a great harvest, you don't just wish that something will grow out of the ground without planting any seed or you dont just plant seeds and not work on your yard, remove thorns, weeds, add nutrients, water to get a good yield. Live is WORK, if you want to get something out of it, but if just allow life to happen with no focus, no intentionality, you will end up where you didn't have in mind.

The Kingdom of Couches

I am starting to read a new book this week...."the kingdom of couches fighting for Communal faith in an Individual age"... I believe this book will be a great book and its going to do some damage to my wrong belief system say Amen......

Landmarks and Answers

Life can be very interesting sometimes, there are landmarks everywhere telling us what we need to change in our lifes, these landmarks may be friends, family or even strangers but most times, we seem no to pay attention or even notices these landmarks, some landmarks may be so obvious and yet we ignore it and go our way.
Sometimes the landmarks even develop mouths and start shouting but to us its a deaf thing opening its mouth wide.
Some people never, I say never get to respond to what the landmarks tell them and they end up destroying their lives but some, few I think respond to these landmarks and it like their world just goes in a 360 degrees direction.
God thank you for the landmarks, but also thanks you for hearing those "I want to change" voices saying God please help me, you oh God change our lives and you keep changing it. Thank you
My experience is like that of a young man that has grown to be a lone ranger, just love to do this by himself, feeling humbled no proud to ask other people for favour, always fears the word NO or rejection, he even believes that I got to do you a favour before I have the right to ask you for one, self reliance attitude, he loves people but he thinks it will be great if he does not need them funny :) this attitude has even reflected in the way he relates with his creator, his relationship with God is based on I got to deserve it before you give to me I got to please Him before He does it, thinking He does what he does because of what I do or I am doing :) God can do or not do, He works by His purpose and word.
But My story changed when an answer to a prayer for change occured, and my eyes were opened and I now know to live this way is a sin of self relinace (against trusting completely in God Prov 3), the sin of pride and living to please people :)
Now that I have understanding, my journey into knowing more and changing begins........

All sought.....

Woke up this Sunday jumping out of my bed to get to Church....thank God I got there on time, church was wonderful, getting use to praying in a relaxed mode, and using worship songs instead of the fast praise & worship songs I am used to :) My day picked up with a call from a friend inviting me to go hiking trust me I jumped at it, he drove 30mins to my place to pick me up we went hiking it was a great experience the sight at the top of the mountain was amazing sorry I dont have the picture, but let me describe it; the sun was setting and landscape was beautiful. The echo of our shout was very loud we made some nice african sounds :), the walk down the mountain was easier than going up. In addition I got to understand Fantasy football, my friemd and his dad are into it I found it quite interesting and very intelligent, I may try it out.

My day would not have been complete without calling my fiance who gave me gist of her experience in the National Youth Service camp in the western part of Nigeria, using make shift toilets, well I leave you to fill in the blank space......... :)

Hit, heat and eat......

I think I am back to the school of grammar, I thought was I was a graduate from one of the prestigious schools in Nigeria(that is in the western part of Africa in case you are asking). Well when you want to say eat and someone think you are saying hit! you may probably end up with a red eye but good I was corrected before that would ever happen, so the lesson learnt is how to pronounce these words
hit is dont stretch the word just say it as long as it is :),
heat is stretch the word a little and
eat is . For ate and hate look up the dictionary to know the right way to say it
You may have to do some practice to get how to pronounce the words very well, but dont worry you will get it if it applies to you.

A new book was added to my just starting library today guess which book? How could you guess when there are millions of books in the world just joking, it was an awesome book started reading the book even before it was bought, I was into it, a great book on Prayer by E.M. Bounds I am loving it.....there was a phrase in the book that got my attention
"The prayer of God's saints that are capital stock in heaven by which Christ carries on His great work upon the heart.. " it is indeed a great statement that got me thinking.....

New and good food is good, I ate(did you say it the right way :)) bread, ham, cheese and ketch up and some baked beans, doesn't it sound great :) yeah for real it did not only sound great but it tasted great I loved it and I sealed it with apple juice. I got to eat that again men.
